About The Position

As a Cleaning Operative at OCS, you will play a crucial role in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. Your role will involve hands-on physical tasks that can require standing for periods of time. If the site cleaning is during the day or night in open, public spaces, you may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed, for example, with taking queries linked to cleaning or any incidents/issues reported. You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.

Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK
• A smart phone to use our Timegate Time and Attendance system to pin in and out onsite
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

Responsibilities

• Tidying up work areas
• Cleaning floors and communal areas
• Vacuuming carpeted areas
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Emptying bins
• Washroom cleaning
• Assisting customers if needed (e.g., with queries related to cleaning, incidents/issues reported)
• Completing relevant Health & Safety records
• Attending training courses when needed
• Using the Timegate app to record cleaning entries and other duties
