About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for maintaining a cGMP compliant workspace for manufacturing technicians and keeping department operations running as efficiently as possible. This position provides foundational experience in production operations and offers a clear pathway to advance into a Manufacturing Technician role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work with others in a positive team environment.
  • Able to follow instructions.
  • 1+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder height.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Required to regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and walk for long periods.
  • Required to climb ladders and use balance.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment requiring appropriate PPE at all times, including lab coats, glasses, gloves, hair and beard nets, and closed-toe shoes.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
  • Must be able to wear and properly utilize a respirator, including compliance with fit testing and training requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Removes trash daily from all receptacles.
  • Wipes all doors and curtains daily.
  • Cleans and maintains the interior of the building by sweeping and mopping all floors in manufacturing areas.
  • Maintains sanitary log form by entering date and initialing daily.
  • Prepares cleaning agent solutions and performs sanitation of all manufacturing rooms.
  • Removes old labels and relabels all drums, pallets, and containers; weighs containers and writes tare weight on new labels.
  • Aids the compounding department by putting plastic liners in drums and removes trash from rooms during the compounding process.
  • Performs inventory of gowning supplies and ensures all departments are stocked with gloves, dust masks, arm sleeves, back support, and related items.
  • Cleans all portable equipment such as scoops, spatulas, stainless steel containers, plastic drums, utility carts, and tables.
  • Assists with training on SOP requirements related to disassembling equipment such as Fitzmill, oven trays, hand screens, V-blenders, Ribbon blenders, and oscillators.
  • Cleans all portable compounding equipment including Fitzmill, oven trays, hand screens, V-blenders, Ribbon blenders, and oscillators.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • The program provides milestone-based bonus payments tied to your continued employment and satisfactory performance throughout your first year.
  • To receive each payment, you must be actively employed on the milestone date and on the date payment is processed.
  • Bonus payments are subject to applicable tax withholding.
  • You are not required to submit a separate form to receive payment.
  • HR will track eligibility and milestone dates, and your manager may be asked to confirm your performance standing before each payment is issued.
  • Employees who separate from employment or are placed under formal corrective action before a milestone date will not earn the unpaid portion of the bonus.
  • Once a bonus installment has been earned and paid, it is not subject to repayment unless otherwise required by a separate written agreement.
