About The Position

The Facilities Cleaning Attendant cleans the offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas for all buildings onsite. They clean and maintain all work areas across the campus and ensure a safe working environment. They are task driven and work with other staff as a team or individually to maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff and guests. Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Janitorial or housekeeping experience
  • Experience working with cleaning compounds, solutions, and hazardous materials.
  • Ability to have a positive attitude, work at a rapid pace, and work as a team or individually with limited supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to adjust shift start/stop times as required. Ability to work a rotating schedule that could alternate between 6am-2:30pm or 8:30am-5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain individual offices, conference rooms, stairwells, production break rooms, and other work areas across the campus.
  • Clean all campus bathrooms and port-au-johns as scheduled.
  • Set up rooms for conferences and meetings as scheduled.
  • Wash safety vests and bath towels.
  • Report any broken equipment to Supervisor and complete minor repair work as instructed.
  • Ensure and maintain all safety and security procedures.
  • Maintain inventory in assigned work areas such as cleaning supplies, water, paper goods, etc. and report to supervisor.
