About The Position

Outdoorsy Yosemite is seeking a hospitality focused Seasonal Cleaning Associate. The Cleaning Associate will play a key role in creating a pristine first impression to all guests that enter any and all interior spaces through routine cleaning and maintenance. After a long day of adventuring in nature, our guests deserve relaxation in thoroughly cleaned and nurtured spaces.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping
• Able to adhere to strict cleaning guidelines and policies
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business demands
• Ability to lift 15-25 pounds
• Able to be on their feet for 8 hours a day
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

• Hotel or Resort cleaning experience
• New build/opening team experience
• Passion for the outdoors

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms as assigned according to the highest standards of cleanliness (i.e. mopping, dusting, windows, making beds, removing trash, bathrooms, and kitchens)
• Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies, equipment on hand, and room amenities
• Restock guest amenities and supplies
• Communicates effectively; Informs Guest Experience Hosts on status of room cleanliness/completion
• Assist guests with questions and requests with the highest level of attention and customer service
• Ensure the grounds, buildings, and units are fully functional, safe, and attractive.
• Performs other duties as assigned
