About The Position
Under the direction of the Area Manager and Operations Team, Cleaners are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment at assigned customer locations. Team members will perform routine janitorial duties while upholding Clean Team's quality standards and customer expectations. Clean Team is a regional commercial janitorial company that has been in business for over 20 years. Each year our team continues to grow and expand. We currently serve customers throughout Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Indiana. Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and self-motivated work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow assigned cleaning schedules and complete all required tasks within designated timeframes
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and responsible manner
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Ensure assigned facilities meet Clean Team's quality standards
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance
- Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned
