About The Position

Velociti Services is seeking a dependable and flexible Fill-In Cleaner to support operations by providing coverage for employee call-offs, vacation requests, and other staffing gaps. This role is essential to maintaining consistent service levels and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across assigned locations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, reliable, and able to quickly integrate into different teams and worksites.

Requirements

  • Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and short-notice assignments
  • Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
  • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
  • Standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties across multiple locations as assigned based on coverage needs
  • Vacuuming
  • Edging
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms
  • Window cleaning
  • Emptying trash and transporting it to the proper disposal area
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Report site-specific issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to supervisor or lead
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Perform work assignments collaboratively with other team members across various locations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
  • Follow all company procedures, policies, and site-specific requirements
  • Take direction and respond positively to supervision
  • Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
  • Provide coverage during staff shortages, call-offs, and vacation requests with flexibility
  • Adapt quickly to different job sites, teams, and expectations
  • Support shift lead in completing punch-list items and priority tasks
  • Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems, processes, and work environments across assigned locations
  • Instill trust through reliability, consistency, and accountability
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the guest experience across all assigned sites
  • Always prioritize safety in every task and environment
  • Build respectful and professional relationships with teammates, supervisors, and customers
  • Willingness to take direction from the Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager at any assigned location
  • Coordinate activities with other internal departments as needed
  • Participate in team meetings when applicable
  • Support team continuity by stepping in seamlessly and maintaining service standards during absences
