About The Position

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas using established practices and procedures, in accordance with company and client quality and safety standards. The role may require frequent interaction with clients.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• One or more years of custodial cleaning experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste receptacles; remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises and take it to designated areas.
• Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas; sweep or dust-mop hard floors; damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep the janitor’s closet clean, neat, and orderly.
• Perform other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
