About The Position
Kids & Company is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join their team. This is a part-time position with evening hours, Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays for deep cleaning. The role involves maintaining a clean and sanitary environment across various areas of the childcare centers, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and staff areas. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, and high-touch areas, as well as managing cleaning supplies.
Requirements
- Able to work 3 hours after 6:00 pm Monday to Friday
- Flexible to work some Saturdays for deep cleaning / 4 to 5 hours
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 45 pounds
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
Responsibilities
- Clean toilets and sinks
- Scrub taps
- Wipe and wash down tiles
- Clean mirrors
- Remove garbage from the cans and diaper pails
- Scrub and mop the floors of Classrooms, Offices and Staff
- Vacuum all carpets
- Clean all surfaces areas, including desks and counters
- Sanitize all high-touch areas, including door handles, garbage lids, light switches
- Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
