About The Position

Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the shipyard, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Key duties will include cleaning tanks, confined spaces, bilges pressure washing components, and response to landside spills. The position should require a strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions. The position requires extensive walking, maneuvering steps, ladders and climbing as necessary. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the shipyard is essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds
• Must be able to perform overhead work
• Must be able to be clean shaven to wear a respirator
• Must be able to perform work outdoors, year-round, in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work at extreme heights
• Must be able to work in small, tight, confined spaces
• Must be able to work any shift to accommodate production needs
