About The Position

Realstar is currently seeking a Part-time Cleaner to join us in June at one of our properties in Peterborough. Time commitment for this role is approximately 8-12 hours per week. Realstar is a leading residential property management company with over 160 properties across Canada. Our properties are clean, quiet and attract quality residents who will attest to our unique standards of service. Cleaners play an important role in the successful operation of a residential rental building under our management.

Requirements

1-2 years related experience
Strong customer service skills
Display a professional/presentable appearance
Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, items could include garbage bins, furniture, appliances or while performing snow removal duties, sometimes for extended periods of time
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Previous or similar property management experience (an asset)

Responsibilities

Cleaning common areas of property (hallways, stairwells, amenities)
Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, & balconies.
Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops.
Providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents
Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager
