About The Position

We have a vacancy in our team for a Cleaner to work in the Emmaus Plant. You will perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect. To work well in this role you should have basic knowledge around cleaning and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to manage your time efficiently.
Work well when supervisors are not present.
Able to read and follow instructions in English
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.
Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working knowledge of: Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation. Product layouts and production specifications. Product quality specifications. Quality standards.
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
6 months’ experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper
6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments

Responsibilities

General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
Sweep, and mop floors.
Cleaning and stock restrooms.
Ensure doors are locked after hours.
Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
Perform minor repairs.
Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
