About The Position

Now Hiring: Cleaner At First Student, our Cleaners help keep our facilities clean, safe, and ready to support daily operations. This position is responsible for basic cleaning and upkeep tasks, including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing routine cleaning duties in a transportation facility environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or facility upkeep experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and stay on task.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to work in a transportation facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout assigned areas.
• Remove trash and replace liners as needed.
• Keep common areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Perform basic facility cleaning and upkeep tasks as assigned.
• Follow all company safety procedures while performing cleaning duties.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
