About The Position

Join CentraCare and the St. Cloud Hospital as a Hospital Cleaner (EVS) to keep patients safe and facilities clean. This is a fast-paced position requiring interaction and communication with others while sanitizing patient rooms and public spaces throughout the hospital. Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is ideal but not required. Fluency in English is necessary for communication with patients, families, doctors, nurses, and other staff members. For many cleaning positions, wearing hospital scrubs is required.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Excellent time management skills and detail-oriented.
• Must be at least 18 years of age due to handling of cleaning chemicals and operating mechanical lifts.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Communicate fluently in English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize rooms during patient stays and after patients are discharged.
• Vacuuming.
