About The Position
Immediate Opening! Carabetta Management Company is actively hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept facilities across our properties in Middletown and Meriden.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cleaning or janitorial experience
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Strong attention to detail and integrity
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.)
- Clean ceiling vents and perform general upkeep tasks
- Stock and replenish cleaning supplies and supply rooms
- Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities
- Carry out deep cleaning and special projects as assigned
- Notify management of maintenance issues or repair needs
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments when necessary
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members and staff
