About The Position

Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets. At this time, we are looking for a self-motivated, hardworking Cleaner to join us at Ellerdale Apartments in Saint John, NB. This role is full-time hours, 40 hours per week during the day, Monday to Friday. Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to work independently
• Solid communication skills

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste
• Wash windows and interior walls
• Pick up garbage
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Clean vacant units
• Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair
• Other duties as required
