About the Facility Carmel Aged Care is a 120‑bed, purpose‑built facility in the Perth Hills suburb of Carmel, set among natural bushland about 30 minutes from the Perth CBD. The home features modern wings with private ensuites, landscaped gardens and contemporary common areas that create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for Cleaner to join our aged care team at Carmel Aged Care, in a Casual/Part Time capacity. About the Role As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your work directly supports the health, wellbeing, and dignity of those in our care. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail and pride in your work make a real difference every day.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (aged care, healthcare, or commercial cleaning preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control practices (or willingness to learn)
• A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning duties
• Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are always met
• Manage waste disposal and restocking of supplies
• Support a safe, tidy, and homely environment for residents and staff
• Follow cleaning schedules and facility procedures
• Work cooperatively with the broader care team
