About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will be a frontline associate providing commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations. The role focuses on standard custodial and janitorial tasks, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. Cleaners work as part of a team, follow company and safety procedures, respond to supervision, and communicate professionally with colleagues, managers, and customers. The position may also involve filling in during staff shortages and supporting the shift lead with punch-list items.

Requirements

• Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Be able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Be able to lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Be able to climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Perform work assignments as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and rules, take direction, and respond to supervision.
• Communicate professionally with the lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and support customer service and satisfaction.
• Vacuum and edge floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Coordinate activities with other internal departments and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
