About The Position

AB Facility Services is seeking a part-time Cleaner to clean indoors at a client location in Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the facility, reporting repair needs, and following company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards. The cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks, and maintain effective working relationships with clients, coworkers, coordinators, supervisors, and managers. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at $12.77 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must meet all requirements to work legally in the United States.
Must be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain buildings and facilities.
Notify managers about the need for minor or major repairs.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Comply with established safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
Vacuum carpets wall to wall and remove spots that can be treated with standard spotting.
Sweep and damp mop hard-surface floors.
Clean and sanitize drinking areas.
Spot-clean metal doorframes and door tracks.
Remove fingerprints from elevator doors.
Clean all open stairwell surfaces.
Clean entrance-door glass on both sides and polish frames.
Dust ledges and vacuum entrances.
Polish brass and metal.
Remove collected trash and clean and deodorize trash containers.
Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
