About The Position

This role involves performing cleaning duties in various areas of a facility to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, washrooms, and kitchen areas, managing garbage collection, floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), high dusting, window cleaning, and operating specialized cleaning equipment like auto scrubbers and carpet extractors. The position also requires performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A great attitude!
• At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Common area cleaning and washrooms
• Kitchen area cleaning and sanitization
• Collecting and transporting garbage
• Sweeping and mopping the floor and vacuuming the carpets
• High dusting the common area
• Cleaning windows
• Operating the auto scrubber
• Operating the carpet extractor
• Performing additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management
