About The Position

This role involves maintaining a clean and spotless appearance of office floors, restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas. The cleaner will be responsible for dusting surfaces, cleaning and polishing metal, replenishing supplies, and managing waste disposal. Additionally, the role includes spot cleaning, vacuuming entrance mats, and reporting maintenance issues. The cleaner will use various cleaning products and equipment safely, maintain inventory, and perform additional tasks as assigned to support facility operations.

Requirements

Minimum 8 months of professional cleaning experience in an office or corporate environment
Positive attitude with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
Proven ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and supportive with team members
Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in all work responsibilities
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects safely
Comfortable and experienced using various cleaning products, equipment, and tools
Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices in facility cleaning
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established cleaning procedures
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and facility needs
Willingness to maintain a safe and organized work environment

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all office floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping to ensure a spotless appearance
Sanitize and clean restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas on a regular schedule
Dust all visible surfaces within reach, including desks, countertops, light fixtures, window ledges, and ventilation areas
Clean and polish metal surfaces, including stainless steel fixtures and elevator interiors
Replenish restroom and kitchen supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, and paper towels
Empty and replace garbage bins and recycling containers throughout the facility
Perform spot cleaning of lobby floors and conduct thorough washing as needed
Vacuum entrance mats and maintain lobby areas to create a positive first impression
Use various cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively while following all health and safety protocols
Report any maintenance issues or facility concerns to the facilities management team
Maintain organized cleaning supply inventory and communicate when restocking is needed
Perform additional cleaning tasks and projects as assigned by management to support facility operations and meet evolving business needs
