About The Position

This position is responsible for the manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork. Additional duties include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and other related feed production duties, forklift operation and grain handling. The second shift is approximately 11 am to 7 pm.

• Have an understanding of safe working conditions and operations of vehicles.

• Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.

• Must be team oriented.
• Possess great attention to detail.
• High School Diploma.

• Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.
• Agriculture background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork.
• Loading/unloading trucks.

• Forklift operation and grain handling.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
