About The Position

Janitorial staff perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the restaurant looking its best. The role includes general restaurant cleaning and upkeep, basic building maintenance and repairs, and keeping cleaning supplies stocked. The team member must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and work safely with cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Manage time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
• Work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Use basic cleaning equipment.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the restaurant in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean spills using appropriate equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
