About The Position

This position is responsible for maintenance and cleaning duty at a commercial laundry facility. The primary responsibility on the third shift is performing blowdowns on machinery, among other duties listed below, but not limited to them.

Requirements

Full-Time 3rd shift porter from 11:30PM-7:30AM Monday through Friday

Nice To Haves

For training purposes, any candidate hired for this position will initially work the second shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). Upon completion of training, they will transition to the third shift.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, restrooms, hallways, etc
Emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures
Assist in cleaning rooms
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
Sweep, and clean restrooms
Mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows
Empty and clean all trash receptacles
Mopping, scrubbing floors, and vacuuming.
Removing trash and sanitizing trash containers
Cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies
Maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment
Perform light dusting, window cleaning, and vacuuming.
