Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Capable of dumping 500lb dumpsters.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely performs janitorial duties and other clean-up projects, including cleaning pipes, lights, beams, floors, line belts, or conveyors, and other production equipment as needed during the shift.
  • Scrapes rusty areas, primes, and paints as needed.
  • Empties trash throughout the day into dumpsters and transports them to designated dumpsters and the East dock.
  • Follows an assigned clean-up project list.
  • May use a hand truck and floor scrubber for various duties.
  • Removes, cleans, and replaces inedible containers daily as needed.
  • Wipes condensation.
  • Keeps the department and equipment clean and supplied with cleaning utensils and supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
