About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Detector Production Manager, the Cleanroom Manufacturing Technician performs hands-on technical tasks in a cleanroom environment to support final inspection, demount operations, and product disposition. This role is responsible for verifying product quality, executing yield and scrap transactions, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking across MES and ERP systems to maintain traceability and production integrity. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and follow process documentation and travelers
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and traceability

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with MES and/or ERP systems preferred
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, inspection, or assembly
  • Experience with final inspection, demount processes, or product disposition
  • Familiarity with yield tracking, scrap processing, and inventory reconciliation
  • Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform final inspection of wafers and assemblies using microscopes and metrology tools
  • Execute demount processes following established procedures and handling requirements
  • Identify, document, and escalate defects or nonconforming conditions
  • Process yield, scrap, and rework transactions in MES and ERP systems
  • Ensure accurate part counts and product status throughout final inspection and disposition
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
  • Complete data entry for travelers and WIP tracking systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support product traceability and system integrity
  • Record inspection results, defect classifications, and disposition decisions
  • Verify completion of prior process steps before final inspection
  • Support audit readiness by maintaining clear and accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection criteria
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality
  • Support issue escalation and resolution related to yield, inventory discrepancies, or product defects
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to inspection processes and data accuracy
  • Follow ISO Class 6 cleanroom protocols and safe handling practices
  • Maintain 5S/6S standards to ensure an organized and compliant work environment
  • Perform additional duties as required to support production goals and schedule
