About The Position

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Clay Arts Instructor to lead engaging classes for elementary school students. The instructor will design and deliver lessons that introduce children to clay techniques, from hand-building to simple sculpting, while fostering creativity, patience, and teamwork. Candidates should have prior teaching or arts education experience, a passion for working with children, and strong communication skills. This role requires preparing age-appropriate projects, maintaining a safe and inspiring classroom environment, and encouraging students to explore their artistic expression. The ideal candidate will bring both technical knowledge and a playful teaching style to spark curiosity and confidence in young learners.

Requirements

• Prior teaching or arts education experience.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong communication skills.
• Availability for the entire program (June 6, 2026 - June 27, 2026, Saturdays 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM).
