Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education; Master's degree preferred.
Prior experience in tutoring, academic intervention, or classroom instruction preferred
Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum and differentiated instruction strategies
Valid teaching certification or licensure (preferred or required per state guidelines)
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Patient, empathetic, and student-centered approach to teaching
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented educational environment

Responsibilities

Supervise the CLASSTIME™ study hall environment.
Help students prioritize assignments and manage their academic workload.
Support students with homework completion across subject areas.
Provide guidance with organization, planning, time management, and study skills.
Help students develop effective academic habits and routines.
Provide executive-functioning support and accountability.
Monitor student attendance, participation, and progress.
Track student usage and communicate relevant concerns to the Novella Prep program manager.
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with other CLASSTIME™ teachers.
Follow Novella Prep's academic methodology and program expectations.
