About The Position

The Classroom Trainer is responsible for training employees to be productive in their new positions. This role involves conducting orientations for new hires, maintaining employee paperwork, and assisting the HR department as needed. The trainer must be flexible to cover either shift and potentially work Saturdays. A key requirement is the ability to feel confident and comfortable presenting in front of a large audience. The trainer will also coordinate and facilitate orientation using the Alchemy system and perform training courses in various areas including Safety, Food Safety, Foreign Objects, HR Culture, diversity, Ergonomics, Knife sharpening, Lockers, Health services, and Lock-Out/Tag-Out. Additionally, the trainer will issue PPE to new hires and conduct annual retraining for all production employees. Job performance is evaluated by the Training Manager based on the quality of training and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Must feel confident and comfortable in front of a large audience.
  • Spanish preferred not required.
