About The Position

The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The teacher is responsible for growth in student learning. This position is designated as Exempt for FLSA purposes. The term of employment can be for nine, ten, eleven, or twelve months, with salary determined by the corresponding Teacher Salary Schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate
  • Any additional certifications/qualifications specified by the Louisiana Standards for State Certification of School Personnel Bulletin 746
