About The Position
Play a key role in keeping our New Salem center operating smoothly. The Classroom Support person maintains a clean environment, preps simple meals and snacks, assists in the classroom, and shops for snacks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all principles of confidentiality.
- Clean Head Start areas and bus.
- Maintain playgrounds – i.e. snow and ice removal, mow, sweep sidewalks, pick up trash, etc.
- Prepare/serve simple breakfast, serve lunch from public school, and serve snack.
- Cleanup after meals and snacks.
- Assist in the classroom.
- Shop for snacks.
