Discovery Kidzone is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Classroom Relief Specialist to join our team in Bozeman. Requirements

At least 16 years old
Passionate about working with children
Comfortable working with different age groups
Caring, patient, dependable, flexible, and organized
Positive and able to adapt to changing classroom needs
A strong communicator and team player
Willing to learn and complete required Montana licensing and training requirements
CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

Previous childcare experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

Supporting classrooms and age groups throughout the center
Assisting with teacher breaks, classroom transitions, and daily schedule coverage
Supporting daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, and toileting
Engaging children through storytelling, music, movement, crafts, games, and hands-on activities
Encouraging positive behavior, social skills, independence, and confidence
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning experiences
Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions
Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe classroom environments
Collaborating with teachers and center leadership to meet classroom needs
Communicating professionally with coworkers and families when appropriate
