About The Position
Liberty POST is seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Classroom Aide to work with children aged 3-5 years old in Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in Rochester. Liberty POST has provided high-quality, individualized services since 1994, backed by Liberty Resources Inc. As part of a large social services network, POST has grown from its origins as a speech-language practice in Syracuse, NY, to offer services across New York State and Indiana. We employ over 500 professionals in various settings, utilizing a collaborative team approach for evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. Our focus is on the importance of a child's natural learning environment, a family's unique strengths and needs, and the diverse population we serve.
Requirements
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Early Childhood Experience
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Works with the Center Based Special Education Teacher.
- Assists in the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom environment.
- Organizes, implements, and teaches developmental skills to students ages three to five.
