Class C Driver
About The Position
The Class C Driver is responsible for delivering products safely and on time to retail stores. The role involves operating a delivery vehicle, navigating delivery routes, loading and unloading products, and providing professional service to store personnel. The driver also assists with unloading incoming shipments at the distribution center and maintains delivery records while following company, safety, and Department of Transportation requirements. The position is full-time, based at 6491 Caballero Blvd, Buena Park, California 90620, with a stated work schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekend, holiday, or rotating-schedule availability may be necessary. The work takes place in a production environment that may involve exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors. The position pays $22 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class B driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, or rotating schedules.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a related role.
- Prior experience handling product barcodes.
- Experience using pallet jacks and forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle while following traffic rules and regulations.
- Load, transport, and unload products accurately and efficiently at designated store locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Work with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations, and optimize routes to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Provide courteous and professional service to store personnel during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports for verification.
- Assist with unloading incoming shipments at the distribution center using pallet jacks and other machinery.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and helpfully.
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
