In this vital role, you will: Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. Uphold high standards of safety while operating company vehicles. Provide excellent customer service during every interaction.

Requirements

Possess a valid California Class C Driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
Must have clean driving record.
2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training
Long hours of moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications.
Ability to put things in a proper sequence (e.g., by size, alphabetically, numerically) and to put like items together.
Knowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle.
Knowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Drive a bobtail flatbed truck equipped with a lift gate to transport materials safely and efficiently.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers, including assisting with loading and unloading materials and maintaining thorough documentation for all deliveries.
Process customer returns with precision, verifying product details to facilitate accurate credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the vehicle as needed, and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations to maintain safety and compliance.
Adhere to and promote all company safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and others.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to pick, prepare, receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials as needed.
Be prepared to work overtime as required to meet business demands.
