About The Position

Lazydays of Tampa powered by Campers Inn RV is seeking a Class B Sales Manager to lead and grow their Class B motorhome segment. This role involves planning, implementing, and directing sales activities to achieve objectives and develop this specialized area. The company is creating a dedicated Class B experience at their Tampa location, including specialized displays, upfitter stations, a dedicated sales team, and a customer experience tailored to Class B buyers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Class B business, eager to become an expert, build a strong team, and shape the future of this segment. While experience in Class B is desirable, strong sales leaders with the drive to develop expertise are also encouraged to apply. This role initially focuses on the Tampa location with potential for future expansion to other Campers Inn RV locations. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
  • Must obtain State Sales License if required by state regulations
  • A minimum of four years of RV sales management experience or experience in an automotive or RV dealership is strongly preferred
  • Experience within the Class B motorhome, camper van, specialty RV, or similar segment is preferred but not required
  • Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in and ability to become a subject-matter expert within the Class B motorhome segment
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as required, is essential. Hours may include evenings and weekends

  • Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications, including Motility Systems2K and other software as applicable
  • Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer files and reports
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes as needed
  • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience in a related field is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of sales specialists focused on creating a customer’s perfect “Away”
  • Lead and grow the Class B motorhome business at the Tampa location, developing a sales experience specifically tailored to the Class B customer
  • Develop extensive knowledge of the Class B segment, including manufacturers, products, features, upfit options, customer preferences, competitors, and market trends
  • Help develop and maintain the dedicated Class B showroom experience, including manufacturer display sections, upfitter stations, merchandising, and product presentation
  • Build and develop a sales team with strong Class B product knowledge and a consultative approach to the Class B customer
  • Identify revenue programs and facilitate finance, legal, and sales practices
  • Oversee resource planning, reporting, territories, incentives, and communications for the assigned team
  • Participate in client interactions to ensure cross-training, customer satisfaction, and management involvement regularly
  • Ensure reporting and communications are frequent and bi-directional
  • Stay on top of market trends, the RV industry, Class B products and customer trends, and current dealership inventory
  • Partner with dealership leadership and manufacturers to identify opportunities to grow Class B sales, market share, and the overall customer experience
  • Provide feedback and insight regarding Class B inventory, product mix, customer demand, and emerging opportunities within the segment
  • Be enthusiastic and have strong communication with customers, employees, management, and manufacturer partners
  • Attend RV shows and location events as needed
  • Help establish Class B sales processes and best practices that have the potential to be expanded to additional Campers Inn RV locations
