About The Position

Maine Oxy has an immediate opening for a Class B CDL Driver with Hazmat (Local Route) in Waterford, CT. This role involves driving a delivery truck (up to 20-ton) on a set route to deliver gas cylinders and supplies to customers and pick up empty cylinders. The driver will also be responsible for completing basic paperwork for deliveries, performing daily truck safety checks, and using a forklift/pallet jack when needed, always keeping safety a top priority. Additionally, this position will provide backup counter sales support as needed, assisting customers with product knowledge and technical expertise, and helping in the warehouse with cylinders and inventory.

Requirements

• Class B CDL (Hazmat + Air Brakes required)
• Clean driving record (no recent accidents/violations)
• At least 1 year driving experience (or recent driving school)
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly (sometimes more)
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Basic communication and customer service skills
• Show up on time
• Work safely
• Be reliable and organized
• Treat customers well
• Get the job done right
• Must be 21+
