Requirements

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement
Experience operating manual transmission vehicles (10, 13, or 18-speed)
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and job-related tasks

Nice To Haves

Experience operating hook-lift trucks preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class B CDL hook truck on assigned routes
Deliver, exchange, and retrieve hook-lift containers at customer locations and disposal facilities
Load and unload containers using the truck's hook-lift system
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
Secure containers properly and follow all company and DOT safety standards
Use a tablet-based system to manage routes, logs, and required documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Maintain safe driving practices at all times, including the use of onboard safety technology
