About The Position

Class B Hazmat CDL Truck Drivers make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations. Drivers will make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time. They will load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured and hazardous material is separated appropriately. Drivers will also collect payments and accurately document deliveries, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)), and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, informing their supervisor of any maintenance needed. The vehicle should be kept clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis. Drivers are also expected to increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis and perform other duties as assigned. This is a local delivery position, meaning drivers will be home every night. Drivers are guaranteed at least 40 hours per week, regardless of deliveries. Requirements

• To be at least 21 years old.
• A valid Class B commercial driver's license, with HAZMAT endorsement.
• A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• The ability to maneuver heavy objects that can weigh up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience.

Responsibilities
