About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations and deliver a high level of customer service daily across the Baltimore, MD area. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering 40-50 hours per week with consistent work hours on a 2nd shift schedule (5 PM to 5 AM), Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
Proven longevity in past employment

Responsibilities

Delivering throughout MD/DC/DE/VA
Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations
Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
