Class B Driver
About The Position
Reddy Ice is a leading brand in ice production and manufacturing, known for consistency, quality, and service. This full-time, permanent position involves delivering ice to customers using straight trucks, requiring a Class B CDL license. Drivers will be assigned delivery routes or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and equipment may change based on business needs. Reddy Ice manufactures and distributes approximately 1.8 million tons of ice annually, serving a broad customer base with high standards of product quality and service.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a current/valid class B or A CDL license
- Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required
Nice To Haves
- Three years previous route delivery driver experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver ice to customers in straight trucks
- Be assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations
- Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers / iceboxes
