About The Position

Imperial Brady is hiring a Class B Delivery Driver (Straight Truck) in Tupelo, Mississippi. The driver is responsible for completing a daily route of stops, delivering products, unloading merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service. Deliveries involve moving products by hand, manual pallet jack, and dolly to customer-designated locations.

The position operates a 24-foot box truck with a gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds comfortably and unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24-foot box truck with a gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds.
• Load and unload cargo by hand and using a manual pallet jack and lift gate.
• Track and document activity in the log.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers in an outgoing, positive manner.
• Deliver products along a daily route and move merchandise to customer-designated locations.
