About The Position

Collins Companies, Pallette Stone Corp. is seeking a reliable individual for a full-time permanent position as a Class B CDL Truck Driver.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license
• Must be able to drive a manual shift vehicle (18-speed transmission)
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years CDL class driving experience
• Must be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations
• Must be familiar with NYS DOT Rules and Regulations
• Must have a clean Motor Vehicle driver abstract
• Must have a current DOT Physical
• Must pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
• Must be able to complete a pre/post trip inspection of the vehicle

Responsibilities

• Perform job duties while following all safety policies and procedures
• Deliver aggregates and blacktop material to customers
• Ability to communicate with customers and internal personnel
• Ability to navigate to customer locations
• Responsible for keeping truck clean and free of debris
• Position is full-time Monday – Friday with weekend work and night shifts as needed
• Must be willing to work out of town for extended periods of time
