About The Position

Form Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking a reliable and experienced Class B CDL Truck Driver to join their team. This role involves local deliveries of construction materials and rental equipment, with very limited out-of-state driving. Overtime may be required on most days. The company has been serving the construction industry in the Mid-Atlantic Region for over 60 years, providing supplies, equipment, and expert assistance.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, weight limits, and load securement procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an outdoor, all-weather environment.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating flatbeds, box trucks, or other CDL B vehicles.
  • Ability to frequently lift, bend, and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs).
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.).
  • Ability to drive and stand for long periods of time, as well as maneuver heavy equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience (preferred in construction supply or equipment delivery).
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Operate CDL B commercial vehicles to transport construction materials and rental equipment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and job sites.
  • Properly load, secure, and unload materials using equipment such as forklifts, straps, and chains.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Report any maintenance issues, defects, or safety concerns immediately.
  • Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Represent Form Services, Inc. professionally when interacting with customers, contractors, and site managers.
  • Provide delivery updates, verify orders, and obtain necessary signatures or documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding schedules, delays, or route changes.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws.
  • Follow proper lifting techniques, PPE requirements, and safety protocols on job sites.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip records.
