About The Position

Tevis is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves local deliveries, ensuring drivers are home daily. The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 to $30.

Requirements

• 1-3 years Driving Experience
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License
• Hazmat Endorsement Required
• Tanker Endorsement
• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of computers (Ravens)
• High level of customer service focus
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Clean Driving Record

Responsibilities

• Deliver Propane to commercial and residential tanks
• Maintain DOT physical card, Hazmat and Class B (minimum) CDL license compliance
• Skills to perform a leak test on disruption of service deliveries
• Basic knowledge of how to purge lines of air and ability to light appliances
• Ability to follow safety regulations and be safety conscious
• Load/Unload bobtail truck
• Maintain accuracy in paperwork (load records, manifests, delivery tickets)
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and weekly lubrication and cleaning of truck
• Sustain open communication with dispatch to ensure delivery and inventory records are accurate
• Work overtime and some weekends during heating season
• Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotation
