About The Position
Atlas Concrete is seeking a dependable Class B CDL Driver for local routes serving Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth. This position offers the opportunity to work locally, be home every night, and avoid night shifts and Sundays. The role involves operating specialized equipment to deliver concrete to residential and commercial job sites, working closely with dispatch, supervisors, and customers to ensure safe and reliable service. Training on equipment and procedures will be provided. Ideal candidates possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and mechanical aptitude.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the position
