Class B CDL Driver/Delivery Specialist - Home Daily, No Weekends
About The Position
Garden State Tile is seeking a professional, customer-focused CDL Class B Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team. Operating out of our state-of-the-art, 9,000 sq. ft. wireless distribution facility in Lancaster County, you will be the face of our company—safely delivering premium ceramic, porcelain, glass, and stone products directly to our regional dealers, architects, and job sites. Enjoy a predictable routine with fixed daytime hours and weekends off. Home Base: Lancaster, PA facility – all shifts start and end at the Lancaster facility daily. Delivery Territory: Local and regional routes across Central and Northeast Pennsylvania (excluding Pittsburgh) and Maryland (excluding southern MD/shore points).
Requirements
- Active and valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Health Card).
- Excellent interpersonal and face-to-face customer service skills.
- Comfort handling physical freight safely alongside warehouse machinery.
Responsibilities
- Safely navigate and complete daily local routes, handling customer deliveries, job site drop-offs, and vendor pickups efficiently.
- Load and unload your delivery truck utilizing provided material-handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Provide exceptional face-to-face service during the delivery process, acting as a professional representative of our team and obtaining authorized signatures on Bills of Lading (BOL).
- Safely resolve delivery-day logistical issues as they arise and assist with general warehouse operations alongside a collaborative team.
- Maintain driver logs and complete routine daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, immediately communicating any mechanical issues to management.
