About The Position

Requirements

Valid CDL – Class B minimum
Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo is 70-pound bundles of shingles)
Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required

Nice To Haves

Knuckle boom truck experience is preferred
Crane certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera phone system.
Complete a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of the truck are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set materials and unload them.
Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork precisely and timely.
Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries.
Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials onto or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned.
