About The Position

Viking Electric is seeking a full-time Class B CDL Delivery Driver for their Duluth, MN location. This role involves delivering electrical products to customers using a straight truck/box truck. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 4 am start, ensuring drivers are home every night and do not work weekends. The position offers hourly pay between $25.00 - $30.00, depending on experience. Drivers play a vital role in the supply chain, acting as the face of the company and building customer relationships.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL
• Be at least 21 years old
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
• Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical with our physician network
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Basic English communication skills
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
• Contact customers upon arrival and assist them with unloading
