About The Position

NE Tech Air is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class B/C Delivery Driver to transport ductwork, sheet metal materials, and equipment from their fabrication shop to active job sites. This role is crucial for maintaining project timelines, field productivity, and customer satisfaction. The company emphasizes accountability, trust, and doing things the right way, with a team-first mentality. This position is not suitable for individuals who are frequently late, disregard safety rules, prefer minimal effort, struggle with communication or teamwork, dislike physical work, or require constant supervision.

Requirements

• Valid Class B or Class C Driver's License.
• Clean driving record with no DUIs or reckless driving history.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Experience using GPS and mobile logging systems.
• Availability for early morning start times, typically before 6:00 AM.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport ductwork, sheet metal materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Deliver materials based on scheduled routes.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Maintain DOT compliance and accurate driving logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and field teams throughout the day.
• Assist with unloading and verifying materials onsite.
• Keep trucks clean, organized, and maintained.
• Use GPS systems and mobile apps for routing and documentation.
