We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class B Driver to join our team at Parks Building Solutions. This position is responsible for delivering building supplies to customers and job sites in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Meet 2 yr. DOT physical requirements to maintain DOT medical card.
• Understand and follow DOT regulations.
• Ability to utilize GPS and local road maps.
• Able to operate an iPad/tablet.
• Ability to operate hand trucks and electric lifts.
• Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
• Effective communication skills.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
• High level of composure and good stress management.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record with a valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in a building supply or construction-related industry.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year Boom truck operation experience (preferred)
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one is preferred.
• High school diploma. GED, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B commercial vehicle to transport building materials to designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Verify orders against invoices and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including inventory control and stock organization.
